When I lost my voice

It all started when I woke up one morning and noticed that my voice was hoarse and weak. I assumed it was just a cold or a minor sore throat, but as the day went on, my voice continued to deteriorate until I could barely speak above a whisper. But the most isolating part of this experience was the fact that it happened in a virtual world. We live in a time where most of our communication is done through phone calls, video conferences and virtual meetings.
